Arielle Cooper (b. 2000, Florida) is a Canadian-American painter whose work explores intimacy, observation, and the quiet power of classical technique in a modern world. She began drawing and painting at an early age, encouraged by her parents to treat creativity as both discipline and language. By high school, she had already developed an unusually focused practice-- winning numerous awards and establishing the foundation for what would become a lifelong pursuit of mastery.

Arielle received her BFA in Illustration from the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) in 2023, where she learned to think compositionally and narratively. Over time, she gravitated away from the speed of commercial work toward the patience of fine art-- drawn to oil painting's permanence and emotional depth while steering away from increasingly digital world.

In 2025, she began her MFA studies in painting at the New York Academy of Art before choosing to leave New York to continue her practice independently. Her time at the Academy refined her technical discipline and sharpened her understanding of artistic integrity and purpose.

Arielle is currently in the process of relocating to Toronto, where she is establishing her next studio and continuing to expand her practice. The move reflects a natural evolution in her career-- a turn towards balance, focus, and long-term creative growth. Rooted in discipline and guided by intuition, her work continues to evolve in dialogue with both classical tradition and contemporary life.
